Random Thoughts #1

It is a pity, don’t you think?
That freedom of expression now resides only in our Government textbooks and Civic Education notebooks. For how do we talk when our mouths have been blocked? How do we talk, when, by doing so, we are breaking the pin drop silence and by breaking the pin drop silence, we are breaking the unwritten law? How then do we talk?

It is a pity, don’t you think?
That for the love of money, children are dying, mothers are crying, fathers are suffering. Why do they kill our children, why? Because septic tanks no longer store waste. They now store money – your money, my money, our money. Money meant to rescue our girlfriends that were taken. Money meant for our old grandfathers who have served the country but unfortunately have to wait and queue for hours before they get nothing for pension.

ttggggg

It is a pity, don’t you think?
That in our schools, the best is not the most brilliant student. Instead, he is the one who can swallow and vomit neatly. Our teachers no longer answer questions. Students no longer ask questions because they are now polite and respectful, for those who ask are rude and proud. And so when exams come and we write creatively, we get zero. We are wrong, dullards. They want it word for word, comma for comma, copy and paste. And now they kill our creativity, they kill our spirits.

It is a pity, don’t you think?
That our girls think we like white. They think we like yellow. Imagine! How can they think we like that thing that they do? A farmer in his right senses knows the difference between the natural and the artificial, we want it natural – either black or white. But they think black is dirty. They think it makes them uncool because it is the color of charcoal. They think that we prefer white, they think the artificial makes them look ‘cooler’. And so they change.
Ngbo, is black not beautiful? Is the natural uncool?
Yes, black is beautiful; the natural is cool.

  1. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using?
I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m
having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different
then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic
    but I had to ask!
